5- Homogenising
Homogenising.
The silos carry out the following functions :
• The silos homogenise the raw meal produced in the raw grinding plant so that it meets the quality requirements for the burning process.
• They are also used as raw meal storage facility for the kiln feed in case the raw mills are stopped.
Polysius mainly offers two types of homogenisation silos:
• the tangential blending silo which is defined by its simple and efficient design. After continuous improvement, it is today a tried and tested product for a number of applications.
• the multi-cell silo for complex materials and in special cases.
For a simple storage of bulk materials, we offer different types of silos or bins.
