History :
Among the contracts signed recently :
• two cpmplete 3600 t/d cement production lines built turnkey for Ciments de l'Atlas, Morocco (2008).
• new 3600 t/d turnkey clinker production line for SOTACIB, Tunisia (Group Molins) (2008).
• wet process phosphate ore mills of different capacities (85 t/h to 770 t/h) for OCP SA, Morocco (2011).
In 1995," Polysius Méditerranée " achieved the most important and most modern cement plant in China : a 7200 t/d production line for Shandong Cement.
1996 was an important milestone: Polysius was ISO 9001 certified and since that date carries on improving its quality assurance system.
Between 1996 and 2006, Polysius built five 5000 t/d clinker production lines for Egyptian Cement Company (at that time Orascom group, today Lafarge).
Between 1953 and 1966, the young and dynamic Polysius team installed 30 kilns and 60 mills in France. The year after, Polysius signed its first overseas contracts.
In 1969, Polysius SARL became a joint stock company (Polysius SA) and moved over to Rueil-Malmaison in the outskirts of Paris
At the beginning of the eighties, the company had 300 staff members and an order backlog of 2 billions French francs.
The first very big clinker production line (7.200 t/d) was supplied to a Korean client in 1968.
Twelve years later, Polysius SA moved over to Aix en Provence (South of France) to get closer to its customers mainly located on the Mediterranean rim. " Polpar " became " Polmed ".
Polysius SARL France, subsidiary of Polysius AG, Germany, was established in 1953 in Paris as private limited company.
The offices of the new company were located in the heart of Paris, near the opera, scattered over several buildings.
