4- Grinding

Raw grinding.

For the raw grinding and according to costumers requirements, Polysius offers one of the following 4 different raw mills :

- The QUADRPOL® roller mill is appreciated for its well-thought design. Equipped with 4 rollers, it allows maintenance operations during production, the mill continuing the grinding process with 2 rollers.

- The DOROL® roller mill is suitable for the grinding to high finenesses of the most differing materials such as raw materials for cement manufacturing, clinker, fuels, etc…

- Moist materials are usefully ground in air-swept ball mills.

- With a high pressure grinding roll POLYCOM® integrated in a raw grinding plant, important energy savings and high outputs can be achieved.

In raw grinding plants, ball mills, roller mills and high pressure griding rolls can be equipped with the SEPOL® high efficiency separator. Thanks to its modular design, the SEPOL® is easily integrated into existing plants in view of modernising the plant or increasing its capacity.

Depending on the use, we recommend the following three versions :

SEPOL®-SV, SEPOL®-LM or SEPOL®-RM.
