Clinker storage

Polysius offers two solutions for the storage of clinker :

• the circular stockpile for clinker

• the dome silo

Circular stockpile for clinker

The space-saving, mechanically advantageous circular stockpile consists either in a funnel-shaped floor with central discharge or a flat-bottomed stockpile requiring no soil excavation, with up to 3 discharge channels.

Dome silo

Compared with other silos, dome silos have the largest volume in relationship to their floor-space. The floor of this type of silo is flat. If necessary, dome silos can be efficiently dedusted because of their closed envelope.
